Job summary

GOLFTEC Enterprises is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team, focused on the GOLFTEC portion of the business. This role supports the monthly close, financial reporting, operational analytics, and sales & use tax compliance, while building scalable systems to reduce manual effort.

The ideal candidate brings 2-3+ years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and strong Excel/AI skills. Hybrid/onsite in Englewood, CO with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
2-3+ years of progressive accounting experience required.
CPA or CPA candidate a plus; knowledge in sales tax a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure sales transactions are recorded in compliance with US GAAP—complete, accurate, and timely.
Prepare and post journal entries for inventory, revenue, expenses, and accruals.
Reconcile the general ledger to subledgers for inventory and other key balance sheet accounts.
Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Manage multi-state sales and use tax compliance, including timely filing of returns.
Leverage AI-powered tools to automate repetitive accounting tasks and enhance reporting.
Build and maintain scalable Excel models, dashboards, and automated reports.
