Qualified applicants should have a background in finances and account management. Experience in governmental accounting and budgeting is preferred. Ability to think critically is crucial to this position. Applicants must also have a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and be a team player. This position includes working with the public, junior taxing districts and other county offices. This position is based out of the South Bend Courthouse, but may include occasional travel to the Long Beach Annex.

Employees will receive 12 paid holidays, 1 day a month sick leave and accrue 9.34 hours/month (beginning in the 7 th month) of paid annual leave. After the initial 6-month probationary period, employees will be awarded 56.04 hours of annual leave. Employees and their families are eligible for medical, dental, vision or VEBA and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in the state retirement plan.
