Qualifications

• Strong experience with monthly close and account reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and lookups.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Self-starter who can work independently while partnering effectively across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead key components of the monthly close process, including financial statements, supporting schedules, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Compile and analyze financial data and prepare management and executive reporting.
• Assist with annual budgeting, external audits, and company reporting requirements.
• Manage accounts payable, customer receipts, monthly and quarterly invoicing, and revenue reporting.
• Process bi‑monthly payroll through ADP Workforce Now.
• Partner directly with the CFO on special projects, workflow improvements, and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Provide backup and accounting support across the broader finance team.
• Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of accounting processes.

This is a hands‑on opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys having broad exposure across the finance function. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will play a key role in the monthly close, financial reporting, reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll, and process improvement initiatives while gaining direct exposure to executive leadership.
