Job summary

Process Technology seeks a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Prior experience in manufacturing or an operational environment is preferred but not required.

You will work closely with the Controller and finance team, ensuring accurate, timely records and compliance while collaborating with operations and purchasing across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform detailed balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Support financial statement preparation, including monthly and quarterly reporting packages.
• Assist with inventory, cost accounting, and variance analysis.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This role will work closely with the Controller and finance team and will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial records. Prior experience in a manufacturing or operational environment is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform detailed balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Support financial statement preparation, including monthly and quarterly reporting packages
• Assist with inventory, cost accounting, and variance analysis (as applicable)
• Support fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests
• Participate in process improvements, documentation, and internal control enhancement
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and other departments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience preferred but not required
• Experience with ERP systems (manufacturing ERP experience a plus)
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred (Not Required)

• Manufacturing or industrial accounting environment
• Exposure to inventory accounting, standard costing, or operational variance analysis
• Prior audit support experience
• CPA or CPA-track (a plus, but not required)
