Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing professional services organization to hire a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This highly visible role supports monthly close, financial reporting, consolidations, and audits in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will own key processes, work with leadership, and help drive improvements across accounting systems and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within a mid-size or large organization
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Prior experience working with consolidations, intercompany transactions, and multiple entities preferred
• CPA or CPA-track is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
• Self-starter with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and post journal entries, including intercompany and consolidation entries
• Assist with the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Support annual audits and interim review requirements
• Play a key role in maintaining and improving accounting systems and reporting processes
• Assist with acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic projects
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory reporting requirements
• Partner cross-functionally with finance and operational teams on ad hoc projects
