Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant for a Westminster, CO–based retail client. This onsite role oversees complex general ledger activities and multi-entity accounting, with direct visibility to leadership and a path to supervisory responsibilities.

You will manage month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting, supporting strategic decisions as the company grows through e-commerce and new facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 8+ years of accounting experience with strong general ledger expertise
• Proven experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and multi-entity accounting
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, financial statement preparation, and account analysis

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and reporting for multiple companies.
• Review and approve reconciliations and journal entries prepared by staff accountants.
• Prepare financial statements, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Handle intercompany accounting, cash management, inventory analysis, fixed assets, and sales tax functions.
• Partner with leadership to strengthen processes and support growing accounting needs.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
