Endres Manufacturing Company in Waunakee, WI, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support manufacturing cost accounting, financial reporting, and business analysis. This role collaborates with leadership, production, purchasing, and HR to ensure accurate numbers and insightful decision support.

Responsibilities include journal entries, month-end closes, job costing, inventory and variance analysis, payroll support, and regulatory reporting. On-site, Monday–Friday schedule with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Manufacturing, construction, or job-cost accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost accounting principles.
• Experience supporting payroll and regulatory reporting.
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

• Review Bills of Materials, work orders, and production data for accuracy.
• Assist with inventory accounting, cycle counts, and variance analysis.
• Provide financial data to support estimating, pricing, and operational decisions.
• Support payroll processing and year-end reporting, including W-2s and 1099s.
• Assist with payroll tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Support sales tax, use tax, and other state and local filings.
• Maintain documentation for audits and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, HR, and project management teams.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and internal controls.
• Provide financial insights to support business growth and decision-making.

We're seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial operations, manufacturing cost accounting, and business analysis. This role works closely with leadership, production, project management, purchasing, and HR to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide insights that help drive business decisions.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations

This position is primarily office-based within our manufacturing facility and includes regular interaction with production and operations teams. Occasional travel between our Waunakee and Arlington locations may be required.
