Clean Control Corp in Warner Robins, GA seeks a Senior Accountant to support month‑end close, general ledger integrity, and financial analysis in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

The role reports to the Accounting Manager and requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 3 years as a Staff Accountant, and advanced Excel skills with strong GAAP knowledge. Travel may be required; not remote and no relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required or equivalent experience.
• Three years’ experience as a Staff Accountant focused on financial statement prep, budgeting, payables and receivables.
• Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task, and detail oriented.
• Knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications; strong GAAP understanding.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
• Ability to travel to attend training and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations, including accruals and reclassifications; maintain supporting docs.
• Assist with month-end close process; meet deadlines accurately.
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet and P&L variance explanations.
• Calculate and prepare monthly commission earnings.
• Post accounts payable/receivable; process check disbursements.
• Perform payroll coding and related journal entries.
• Contribute to special projects and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and documentation.

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in month-end close, general ledger integrity, and financial analysis, working closely with the Accounting Manager and cross‑functional teams to ensure the company’s financial position is clearly and reliably reflected.

This position is ideal for an accountant who enjoys hands‑on accounting, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations, including accruals and reclassifications, and maintain supporting documentation
• Assist with the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet and P&L variance explanations
• Calculate and prepare monthly commission earnings
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable postings
• Process check disbursements
• Perform payroll coding and related journal entries
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as assigned
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent experience and education.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a Staff Accountant in the area of financial statement preparation, budgeting, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Must be a self-starter and have the ability to multi-task and be detail oriented.
• Understanding of spreadsheet and database applications.
• Must have strong knowledge of Accounting principles, including U.S. GAAP.
• Ability to analyze financial data.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Excellent reasoning skills.
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic.
• Proven ability to achieve results in a fast‑paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to travel to attend training and meetings as needed.
