Job summary

CFS in Ohio is seeking a Senior Accountant to reinforce core accounting operations, ensuring accuracy of financial data and supporting monthly close in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with the Corporate Controller, assist with audits, and contribute to process improvements while working on ERP and related system implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.
• ERP system experience (NetSuite or Great Plains) and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support monthly close processes in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare and post journal entries while reconciling key accounts (cash, payroll, accruals).
• Serve as liaison for external audits and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls and partner cross-functionally on financial analysis and reporting.

This position works closely with the Corporate Controller and contributes to monthly close, audit support, financial analysis, and process improvements within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
