Kreative Technologies is seeking a Senior Accountant with government contracting experience to support our month-end close, reconciliations, and accurate, compliant financial reporting. This role works closely with our CFO and Accounting Manager in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently; must have GAAP and FAR knowledge, experience with Unanet or Deltek, strong Excel skills, and solid communication.

Formación

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including government contracting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and FAR.
• Experience with government contract accounting systems such as Unanet or Deltek (GCS Premier or Costpoint).
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication and problem solving abilities.
• Proactive, professional and able to work independently.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with Unanet and ADP.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews and performs reconciliations of balance sheet accounts ahead of month end close.
• Supports and helps lead the month end close process.
• Performs or oversees fixed asset accounting, accounts payable and payroll accounting.
• Prepares project financial status reports for leadership and Project Managers.
• Identifies, researches and resolves accounting issues; traces discrepancies and maintains supporting documentation.
• Assists in developing, implementing and monitoring accounting policies and procedures.
• Performs complex calculations and analysis in Excel.
• Protects confidential financial information.
• Supports special projects to help the Accounting/Finance team run efficiently.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This role works closely with our CFO and Accounting Manager and plays a key role in month end close, reconciliations and accurate compliant financial reporting.The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced government contracting environment.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Reviews and performs reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and makes necessary adjustments ahead of month end close.
• Supports and helps lead the month end close process.
• Performs or oversees fixed asset accounting, accounts payable and payroll accounting.
• Prepares project financial status reports for leadership and Project Managers.
• Identifies, researches and resolves accounting issues; traces discrepancies and maintains supporting documentation.
• Assists in developing, implementing and monitoring accounting policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including in a government contracting environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and extensive knowledge of FAR.
• Experience with government contract accounting systems such as Unanet or Deltek (GCS Premier or Costpoint).
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Proactive, professional and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification.
• Experience with Unanet and ADP.

Compensation

$70,000 - $90,000 annually
