Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP in Virginia is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to handle all accounting for 25 real estate entities. The role reports to the CFO and Chairman and requires in-office presence.

You will manage all accounting functions, rent payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include payroll processing, inter-company invoicing, quarterly tax projections, and using Sage 100 for accounting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, payroll, taxes, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range $80,000 – $100,000 depending on experience. Competitive benefits including medical, dental, and paid time off. This position requires being in the office at least 4 days per week.
