Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Fully Remote, Must Live in NYC

Salary: Up to $105K annually

Company: A global organization dedicated to advancing medical care through information and communication. The company seeks a Senior Accountant to join its finance team, reporting to the Accounting Manager.

About the Role

This role supports scientific communication, medical education, and product marketing by ensuring financial integrity and compliance. The goal is to contribute to medical advancements and improve lives.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, amortization, and consolidations.
• Prepare financial statements and explain variances.
• Complete account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• File quarterly GST/QST/HST returns.
• Reconcile payroll and taxes, prepare commission statements, and support daily accounting operations.
• Maintain fixed asset records, calculate depreciation, and process intercompany transactions.
• Conduct data analysis and assist in management reporting and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in professional services.
• Knowledge of GAAP and sound accounting practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Maconomy ERP is a plus.
• Familiarity with transfer pricing and fluency in French are advantageous.
