Highmark is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to compile, consolidate, and analyze information for financial statements. You will apply standard accounting practices to classify and record transactions, prepare journal entries, and manage fixed assets and inventory accounting.
The role requires 5 years of progressive accounting experience and strong Excel data-processing skills. You will support bank reconciliations, cost accounting, and timely financial reporting, while mentoring
Perform professional accounting work involving compilation, consolidation, and analysis of accounting and finance information for the production of financial statements and reports. Applies accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions. Responsibilities include preparation of journal entries, fixed asset or inventory accounting, preparation of trial balance or financial statements, cost accounting, bank account reconciliations, accurate tracking and recording of various income and expense activity, suspense account items, and proper tracking and recording of receivables.
