REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Executive Director, Head of Finance

LOCATION

Remote

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in Aadi’s accounting function, including month-end close, technical accounting, reporting to headquarters and several other correlated tasks. This individual will operate cross functionally with the objective of accurate financial reporting, compliance with U.S. GAAP, assist with technical accounting aspects and prepare for IFRS changes

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for Revenue accounting including gross to net analysis
• Clinical trial accounting and accrual analysis
• Intercompany transactions and related reporting and accounting
• Prepare journal entries through analysis, review of activities and supporting documentation.
• Ensure proper coding and classification of expenses
• Review and approve expense reports, administer T&E program
• Participate in the accurate and timely preparation of the monthly and annual closing process.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, detailed analysis and other Flux analysis for quarterly review and annual audit
• Research accounting proclamations with IFRS changes
• Support financial statement audits and reports.
• Assist with technical accounting research and documentation of new policies and procedures.
• Assist with internal control systems for accurate financial reporting and mitigate risks.
• Special projects and other ad-hoc assignments

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA license a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in pharma/biotech industry preferred
• Experience with Business Central (ERP) environment, ReqLogic and other supporting systems or similar.
• Organized, proactive, willing to learn and can-do characteristics with excellent analytical skills
• Excellent Excel skills, experience with leading edge AI tool preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and explain accounting matters.

SALARY

$120,000 Annually

In addition to base salary, total rewards package include bonus, benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) with company match.
