Job summary

HEICO Corporation in Florida is seeking a Senior Accountant for its Flight Support Group based in Hollywood to support the consolidation of financial statements and the year-end close.

You will prepare top-side journal entries to align foreign GAAP with U.S. GAAP, assist with intercompany reconciliations, and drive process improvements while maintaining accuracy.

The role provides financial and operational support to HEICO subsidiaries and involves SEC reporting preparation and ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for FSG entities.
• Create top-sided journal entries eliminating or adjusting foreign GAAP to U.S. GAAP.
• Assist with FSG Corporate closing and intercompany reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements and standardization with accuracy.
• Provide financial and operational support to HEICO subsidiaries.
• Oversee year-end inventory counts at HEICO subsidiaries.
• Prepare schedules for internal and SEC reporting and tax provision.
• Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned.

HEICO is currently seeking a Senior Accountant for its Flight Support Group based in Hollywood, Florida. This position reports directly to the Vice President, FTG Accounting & Finance.

In This Position, The FSG Senior Accountant Will Likely

• Support the preparation of the consolidated financial statements for entities within the FSG
• Prepare necessary top-sided journal entries for eliminations or adjustments of foreign GAAP to U.S. GAAP
• Assist with the FSG Corporate entity closing, including reconciliation of intercompany accounts and review of subsidiary bank account.
• Drive process and reporting improvements and standardization efforts while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Provide financial and operational support to the HEICO subsidiaries
• Observe the year-end physical inventory counts at the HEICO subsidiaries
• Conduct financial analysis and prepare supporting schedules for internal and external (SEC) reporting and for use in the preparation of the tax provision and tax return
• Perform/assist with other duties and special ad-hoc projects
