Job summary

Sauer Compressors USA Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations and ensure the integrity of financial reporting for the Sauer Mexico location.

Based in the Annapolis/Kent Island area, the role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and travels internationally up to 20% as needed. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, 3–8 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, and strong skills in finance, with proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• 3-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with international accounting and foreign currency exchange preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Dynamics required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Manage the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• Coordinate audits and communicates with external auditors and tax advisors
• Assists in month end closing, preparing journal entries and analyzing inventory evaluations
• Maintain internal controls and safeguard financial data
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%
• Other duties as assigned
