Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the organization’s accounting operations and financial reporting processes. This individual will work closely with leadership while helping maintain accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and assisting with the development of scalable accounting processes across multiple business entities.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, experience operating in a fast-moving environment, and the ability to mentor junior accounting staff while remaining hands‑on in daily accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes across multiple business units
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules
  • Maintain accurate cash‑basis accounting records and financial reporting
  • Assist with sales tax compliance and filings
  • Prepare audit workpapers and collaborate with external auditors
  • Support intercompany accounting and consolidation activities
  • Analyze financial data and assist leadership with reporting needs
  • Help improve accounting processes and internal controls as the organization scales
  • Mentor and support junior accounting team members
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with operational and executive leadership teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of technical accounting principles
  • Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor and support team members
  • Healthcare, pharmacy, multi‑entity, or high‑growth company experience is a plus
