Job summary

RBC Bearings in South El Monte, CA is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage monthly close processes and deliver accurate financial statements.

The role requires a BS in accounting/finance, CPA, and 5+ years in manufacturing, preferably aerospace/defense. You will oversee journal entries, reconciliations, GAAP compliance, and support SOX and audits while partnering with leadership.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Education

• BS or BA degree in accounting or Finance
• Big Four experience preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a Manufacturing environment. Public company and Aerospace & Defense Industry experience preferred.
• CPA required.
• SAP experience
• Possess a strong general accounting knowledge, including GAAP and related principles and practices.
• Sound business judgement and ability to synthesize, analyze, and extract implications from data.
• Ability to frame unstructured and complex analytical problems to a broad audience.
• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to regularly interface with executive management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, & Word. Familiarity with SAP S/4 Hana and Analytics Cloud is a plus.
