This is a full-time, in-office role based in Scottsdale, AZ. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the accounting, tracking, and reporting of Walton's land investment portfolio, with a focus on land exits, deferred payments, and investor distributions. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and balance sheet schedules, recording and reviewing land sale and distribution activity, and ensuring transactions are supported, reconciled, and completed timely.
This position is intended for a more experienced accountant who can take ownership of recurring processes, identify and resolve variances, coordinate across departments, and support improvements to controls, documentation, and workflow. The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger and reconciliation experience, advanced Excel skills, sound accounting judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across the organization.
