Job description

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with expertise in ERP, CRM, and BI tools to create reports, extract data, and analyze information to identify issues and trends. The role involves preparing reports to support external disclosures, management reporting, audit, and month-end close requirements, as well as performing complex account reconciliations and analyses.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare journal entries and perform complex account reconciliations and analyses for assigned accounts, including deferred revenue and various accruals.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for the OTC area, identifying and resolving GL account discrepancies.
  • Perform flux and variance analysis of key order-to-cash ledger accounts.
  • Assist in system testing and audits.
  • Contribute to global monthly and quarterly close processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Develop strong relationships with business partners and accounting peers to address accounting and operational needs.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to develop scalable solutions for calculating, tracking, and reporting key balances and metrics.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual audit schedules, and provide compliance support for internal and external auditors.
  • Design, improve, automate, and document processes.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, reporting, and managing accounting policies and procedures.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and advanced filters.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in building new capabilities and process optimization.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in the technology and/or software industry.
  • Experience with subscription management platforms.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Oracle, Salesforce, and Tableau.
Work Environment

This role is fully remote with flexible time zones. The contract is for 9.5 weeks, offering the opportunity to work for a respected and growing SaaS company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
