Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Senior Accountant in San Diego, CA to support general ledger accuracy and GAAP compliance across accounting activities. You will reconcile balance sheets, analyze expenses, and prepare robust financial reports for management and external audits.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems. CPA is highly preferred and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or complex operating environments.
• CPA certification is highly preferred.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and month-end close experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and monitor variances.
• Analyze expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and present financial reports for management and external audits.
• Support external financial audits and implement process improvements.
