Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for ensuring transactions are properly researched, documented, and recorded in accordance with US GAAP and/or IFRS standards. This role supports the close process, works with external auditors, and helps maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and perform full-cycle accounting close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks

• Prepare and review supporting schedules, workpapers, account reconciliations, and job cost reports

• Conduct detailed reviews and research to ensure accuracy within materiality thresholds

• Oversee quarterly IFRS reporting packages and annual US GAAP audits for assigned entities

• Serve as a workflow and technical mentor to other accountants

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure business transactions are accurately reflected in the ledger

• Perform other duties as assigned

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent) required

• Active CPA, CMA, or CA license preferred

• 2–4 years of accounting experience in a mid-size or large corporate environment and/or public accounting

• Experience with SAP and BI/BW preferred

• Prior workflow supervision and audit experience preferred
