Qualifications

• 10+ years of direct accounting experience with a federal government contractor.
• CPA certification is highly desired.
• MBA certification is highly desired.

• Perform reconciliation and analysis of all balance sheet accounts.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing corporate operations team. This role is a cornerstone of the company's accounting function, ensuring that all accounting activities are executed with precision, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the monthly accounting close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, review of supporting schedules, and ensuring timely and accurate close cycles.
• Maintain responsibility for the general ledger, job cost ledgers, accounts receivable, invoicing, and accounts payable functions in compliance with GAAP and government contracting standards.
• Perform reconciliation and analysis of all balance sheet accounts; using professional judgment to research, resolve, and document account discrepancies, ensuring balances are properly supported and compliant.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of direct accounting experience with a federal government contractor.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, FAR, CAS, SBA regulations.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

• CPA certification.
• MBA certification.
• Experience with FP&A.
