Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Accountant in Phoenix, AZ. The role offers high-visibility exposure to Accounting & Finance leadership and an opportunity to own key accounting functions including fixed assets, lease accounting, commissions, and accruals.

You will manage the fixed asset subledger, perform lease accounting under ASC 842, and support month-end through year-end close with audits and process improvements. This is an on-site role requiring 5 days in the Phoenix office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience is required.
• Public accounting experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting is required.
• Experience with lease accounting/ASC 842 is required.
• Experience performing balance sheet reconciliations is desirable.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Phoenix is required.
