CFS is seeking a Senior Accountant in Orrville, OH to own key accounting functions, manage month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This stable, established company offers a clear path toward a Controller role, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, strong GL/close experience, and solid Excel/accounting software skills.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and analyze account activity
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support audits, internal controls, and accounting compliance
• Partner with leadership on process improvements and special projects
• Take on additional responsibilities as the role develops toward future Controller-level leadership
