A leading manufacturer —serving the West Coast construction market—is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Operations Accounting team. This fully remote role plays a key part in supporting all aspects of accounting in a dynamic steel manufacturing environment and reports to the Accounting Supervisor.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare month-end close journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP
• Conduct month- and quarter-end flux/account analyses
• Perform internal controls in compliance with SOX and internal procedures
• Collaborate with the Sales team on invoicing and revenue recognition
• Assist with process improvements and system changes
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual census surveys
• Support internal and external audit activities
• Manage ad hoc projects as assigned
• Promote and support a culture of continuous improvement

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, including general ledger and cost accounting
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to improve and innovate
