Job summary

Connect Search, LLC seeks a Senior Accountant to support the accounting and financial reporting for a private investment office focused on private equity, growth equity and venture capital investments. You will report to the Controller and participate in valuation reviews and investor reporting.

Ideal candidate has 2+ years in financial services or public accounting, a strong background in the general ledger and financial reporting, and familiarity with Allvue or similar fund accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required or CPA preferred.
• 2+ years in public accounting or financial services (Big 4 a plus).
• Strong understanding of general ledger and financial reporting is essential.
• Experience with private equity or fund accounting software such as Allvue is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting.
• Record journal entries for capital calls, distributions, and valuations.
• Process and reconcile capital calls and distribution notices.
• Prepare financial statements and assist with disclosures.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.

Reporting to the Controller, this role will be deeply involved in the accounting and financial reporting of the organization's private equity, growth equity, and venture capital investments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting
• Record journal entries for capital calls, distributions, and valuations
• Process and reconcile capital calls and distribution notices
• Prepare financial statements and assist with disclosures
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes
• Contribute to valuation reviews and investor reporting
