Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Accountant in Niles, MI for a 100% onsite role. You will join a collaborative finance team supporting accounting, reporting and reconciliation functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and GL analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and data validation.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review bank reconciliations by downloading data into Excel and validating information against internal reports.
• Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial statements using Excel, including pivot tables and advanced data organization.
• Apply a strong understanding of debits, credits, and account analysis to support accurate financial reporting.
• Analyze financial data, perform detailed tick and tie procedures, and ensure consistency across multiple reporting sources.
• Develop charts, dashboards, and executive-level reports, including exporting deliverables into PDF format for leadership review.
• Assist with month-end close activities and support ongoing process improvement initiatives.
