JCW Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team in Manhattan. You will own major aspects of the close process and work with senior finance leadership on GAAP and statutory reporting.

The role involves partnering with actuarial, underwriting, and FP&A teams, managing balance sheet fluctuations, and supporting audits and regulatory requests. CPA is preferred and 3–5 years of relevant experience are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or progress toward it preferred.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally within insurance or public accounting with insurance clients.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP; statutory (SAP) experience a plus.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with large ERPs (Oracle, SAP, Workday) helpful.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing deadlines during close.
• Clear communicator who works well across teams.
