Job summary

Teledyne Microwave Solutions seeks a Senior Accountant to ensure financial accuracy and support mission-critical operations in aerospace, defense, and communications. The role emphasizes cost accounting, inventory costing, fixed assets, and GAAP compliance, with experience in ERP systems such as Info XA.

You will perform month-end closings, reconcile inventory and COGS, analyze variances, assist with audits including SOX testing, manage capital expenditures, and prepare business property tax

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years cost accounting experience.
• Experience in medium to large company environments.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Info XA) and fixed asset software.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• U.S. Person (citizens, permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing processes and prepare journal entries for inventory, COGS, and fixed assets
• Reconcile accounts for Inventory, Cost of Sales, and General Ledger
• Analyze variances such as Purchase Price and Work Order variances
• Assist with inventory costing and ERP activities
• Support internal and external audits, including SOX testing
• Track capital expenses, manage fixed assets, and handle prepaid expense amortization
• Prepare business property tax filings and Census reporting
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal accounting policies

Senior Accountant

Ensure financial accuracy and support mission-critical operations. Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience delivering advanced microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for aerospace, defense, and communications. Salary Range:

$96,600.00-$128,800.000
