Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in supporting the financial health and performance of their renewable energy operations. This individual will be responsible for analyzing financial results, supporting leadership with actionable insights, and ensuring accurate reporting across revenue and cost structures. This is an onsite position based in Suffolk County, MA.

Starting at $100,000/year.

Senior Accountant’s Responsibilities And Duties

• Manage and analyze financial results related to revenue, gross margin, and operational costs across renewable energy portfolios
• Prepare detailed financial reports and conduct variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Partner with leadership to provide insights on financial performance and trends
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities
• Handle intercompany accounting activities and reconciliations
• Ensure financial records align with US GAAP and IFRS standards

Senior Accountant’s Qualifications And Skills

• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong financial analysis and reporting background
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience working within ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards
• Utility industry experience strongly preferred
