Job summary

Walworth & Nayh, P.C. is seeking a CPA with a minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience to join our specialized forensic accounting team.

Prior forensic experience is not required, as we provide in-house training and professional development to build expertise in economic damages and litigation support. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of handling complex financial information across diverse cases.

Qualifications

  • CPA or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing financial records, tax returns, general ledgers, payroll records, and other financial information.
  • Performing calculations related to economic damages, lost profits, business interruption, and work loss.
  • Researching financial, economic, and industry information relevant to individual cases.
  • Preparing schedules, exhibits, and supporting documentation for use in litigation.
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports and other written analyses.
  • Reviewing and organizing large volumes of financial and business records.
  • Communicating financial findings clearly to attorneys, clients, and other professionals.
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the firm on complex and challenging engagements.
  • Developing knowledge of forensic accounting methodologies and the application of accounting principles in litigation matters.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience to join our team.

This position is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is interested in applying their accounting knowledge in a more analytical and specialized environment.
