Job summary

Walworth & Nayh, P.C. is a specialized forensic accounting firm seeking a CPA with at least two years of relevant accounting experience to join our team.

Prior forensic experience is not required as we provide in-house training to build expertise in forensic accounting, economic damages, and litigation support. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling complex financial information, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• CPA or actively pursuing CPA licensure
• Minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• A willingness to learn and develop expertise in forensic accounting

Responsibilities

• Analyzing financial records, tax returns, general ledgers, payroll records, and other financial information
• Performing calculations related to economic damages, lost profits, business interruption, and work loss
• Researching financial, economic, and industry information relevant to individual cases
• Preparing schedules, exhibits, and supporting documentation for use in litigation
• Assisting with the preparation of reports and other written analyses
• Reviewing and organizing large volumes of financial and business records
• Communicating financial findings clearly to attorneys, clients, and other professionals
• Working collaboratively with other members of the firm on complex and challenging engagements
• Developing knowledge of forensic accounting methodologies and the application of accounting principles in litigation matters
