The Bachrach Group is assisting a client near Bethlehem, GA, just outside Lawrenceville, GA, in finding a Senior Accountant/Accounting Consultant for temp, temp-to-perm, or direct hire placement.

The role offers $85,000 per year plus bonus for permanent hires. In-office 5 days/week; Bachelor's degree and at least four years of accounting experience required; MS Dynamics GP and Power BI are a plus. This is a hands-on accounting position with month-end close responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with MS Dynamics GP and/or Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets in Excel.
• Perform capital expense reconciliations and payments.
• Perform journal entries.
• Reconcile inventories, bank statements and financial accounts.
• Assist with accounts receivable collections.
• Accumulate profit and loss data.
• Back up other key members of the Accounting department.
• Track and invoice miscellaneous sales.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Our client located near Lawrenceville, GA is looking for a Senior Accountant/Accounting Consultant on either a temp, temp-to-perm, or direct hire basis.

The temp role is flexible on pay and can start immediately.

If temp-to-perm or direct hire, the pay is $85,000/year + bonus.

The in-office expectations are 5 days/week in office.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing process
• Createand maintainspreadsheets in Excel
• Perform capital expense reconciliations and payments
• Perform journal entries
• Perform reconciliations of inventory, bank statements, and financial accounts
• Assist with accounts receivable collections
• Accumulate profit and loss report information
• Back up other key members of the Accounting department (cross trained to various roles in department)
• Track and invoice miscellaneous sales
• Perform other special projects as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience using MS Dynamics GP and/or Power BI a plus
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
