Job summary

Datavant is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a remote-capable role. You will handle daily accounting, payments processing and billing while supporting month-end close and financial analysis in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

You’ll work cross-functionally with the Controller and global teams, using NetSuite and QuickBooks, and adapt to new AI tools to improve workflow efficiency. Hebrew skills are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in accounting/finance roles.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and/or QuickBooks is preferred.
• Tech-savvy & adaptability: comfortable with diverse platforms and AI tools to optimize workflows.
• Ownership mindset: initiative, problem-solving, and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Attention to detail: high accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Clear, professional verbal and written communication.
• Language: Hebrew knowledge a plus (not required) for collaboration with Israeli teams.

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Senior Accountant to join our team. In this versatile role, you will wear multiple hats—combining hands-on accounting, payments processing, and billing. Serving as a crucial link in our finance operations for a dedicated business site within a larger corporate group, you will manage day-to-day accounting and finance tasks in a fast-paced environment while driving process efficiency across modern digital tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Accounting & Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily accounting entries, balance account verifications, and conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy.
• Payments & Cash Flow: Execute outgoing vendor/supplier payments, manage payment schedules, and handle expense workflow verifications.
• Billing: Manage customer invoicing, monitor receivables, track outstanding balances, and work with our financial operations team surrounding collections efforts.
• Other Accounting and Reporting Tasks: Work closely with the Controller and broader accounting/finance team on month-end closing tasks, ad-hoc financial reporting, and analytical assignments.
• Contract & Data Management: Accurate entry and maintenance of customer contracts, billing terms, and financial data in our internal systems.
• Multi-Platform Management: Utilize and navigate modern software platforms daily to streamline workflows and maintain precise record-keeping.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Work Experience: Minimum three years’ experience in accounting/finance roles.
• Systems Experience: Proficiency with NetSuite and/or QuickBooks is preferred.
• Tech-Savvy & Adaptability: Comfortable working across diverse platforms, with a fast-learning mindset to adopt AI tools and new technologies to optimize workflows.
• Ownership Mindset: Strong sense of initiative, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written communication.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken Hebrew is not required but a plus (for collaboration with Israeli teams)
