Fitness Growth Capital (FGC) is a private equity-backed Crunch Fitness franchisee scaling from 12 locations to 40+. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Senior Accountant is a foundational hire on a lean, high-performing Finance team. This role owns core accounting operations - journal entries, reconciliations, and close - while also playing a hands-on role in building the systems, processes, and controls needed to support rapid, professional growth. This is one of two dedicated accounting roles in the company at the outset, so the person in this seat must be capable of operating with significant autonomy and ownership from day one. From day one, the Sr. Accountant will be a key player in many high-visibility, critical projects as the accounting function is built. This role is expected to grow in responsibility and scope as the accounting team and location count scale.
This role is based in the Jacksonville, FL area. It is currently remote, transitioning to hybrid once the company's Jacksonville-area HQ is established, with in-office days to be determined at that time.
