Good Life RV in Bevington, IA is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial activities, prepare budgets, and analyze data for decision making.

You will oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax filings, and assist with audits, while collaborating with management to deliver timely financial insights.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance, 5 years in financial leadership—preferably in automotive or RV retail—and CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the automotive or RV dealership industry
• Attendance is an essential function of this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide management with accurate and timely financial information.
• Develop annual budgets in collaboration with the General Managers and the President.
• Collaborates with the General Managers and President on all financial related activities of the organization.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Ensure new & used financed inventory payoffs are processed within expected timeframes.
• Payroll processing activities, including employee compensation, and benefits administration assistance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and prepare required tax filings and reports.
• Work with external auditors during financial audits, providing requested documentation and supporting scheduled to facilitate the audit process.
• Assists with annual business insurance renewal, files insurance claims, and ensures overall business insurance needs are met.
• Complete monthly financial 20 Group reporting.
