Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
  • Extensive knowledge of public accounting theories, principles, and practices.
  • Knowledge of federal and state accounting/bookkeeping laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge of automated accounting systems.
  • Ability to lead budget preparation.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret complex financial statements and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex accounting problems.
  • Experience developing or modifying accounting procedures and methods.
  • Government/public-sector accounting experience is highly valuable.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

Indiana Residency Required: Candidate must currently reside in Indiana to be considered.

Onsite Requirement: This is a 100% onsite position in Indianapolis, IN. Remote/hybrid work is not available.

Work Schedule: Candidate must be available to work either:

  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, OR
  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
