Job summary

CFS in Indianapolis is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the full accounting function in a close-knit office of five. You will partner with company leadership and gain visibility across the organization.

Responsibilities include daily cash management, AP/AR, bi-weekly payroll, GL maintenance, and month-end close. The role offers a weekday schedule with personal-flexibility, plus bonus opportunities and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong QuickBooks experience required.
• Payroll processing experience preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience working within a small business environment is highly preferred.

• Manage daily cash transactions, bank deposits, and electronic payments.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Process bi-weekly payroll, payroll tax filings, and related deposits.
• Maintain the general ledger and accounting records.
• Assist with month-end close and preparation of financial statements.
• Support cash-basis and hybrid accounting operations.
