Senior Accountant

We're looking for a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of our accounting operations at a growing insurance company. If you're used to wearing many hats, managing the full close, and running a tight QuickBooks setup, this is your chance to step into a high-impact role.

What You'll Do

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
• Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting
• Handle daily accounting operations: AP/AR, journal entries, bank recs, accruals
• Maintain clean books in QuickBooks Online
• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Coordinate with external CPA firm for audits & tax
• Build and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
• Support financial planning & analysis alongside leadership

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in accounting, ideally in insurance, financial services, or a mid-sized company
• Strong grasp of GAAP and end-to-end accounting
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working independently
• QuickBooks Online power user
• CPA or CPA track is a plus
• Comfortable in a dynamic, growing company where you can drive change
