Green Key Resources LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant in Houston to prepare and review SEC filings (10-Q/10-K) and related financial disclosures. You will collaborate with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Investor Relations to ensure accurate reporting for a Fortune 500 energy services leader.

The role requires strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting standards, and proficiency with Workiva, SAP S/4HANA, Hyperion, and XBRL preparation.

Qualifications

• Prepare and review SEC filings to ensure compliance with SEC regulations.
• Develop financial statement disclosures and MD&A documentation.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for compliance and accuracy.
• XBRL preparation and validation for accurate reporting.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K filings to ensure compliance with SEC regulations.
• Support 8-K filings, earnings releases, and investor presentations.
• Develop financial statement disclosures, supporting schedules, and MD&A documentation.
• Conduct technical accounting research and analyze complex accounting transactions.
• Participate in XBRL preparation and validation processes for accurate reporting.
• Assist with proxy statements and other public disclosures as required.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and strengthen financial controls.

Senior Accountant Overview

Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities & Duties

Senior Accountant Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a preference for 4 years.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PDF applications for documentation and analysis.
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA is highly preferred.
• Experience with Workiva, SAP S/4HANA, Hyperion, SOX controls, and XBRL preparation is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, meet filing deadlines, and handle overtime when necessary.
• Background in Big Four public accounting or multinational company is a plus.
