Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant in Nashville, TN. The role offers exposure to ownership and executive leadership, with direct involvement in the financial operations of 30+ commercial properties.

Hybrid schedule: 4 days in the Green Hills office and 1 remote day. Responsibilities include owning the monthly close, preparing statements for ownership, and ensuring cross-entity consistency.

Qualifications

• CPA license or active CPA candidate currently sitting for exams.
• 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in private-company setting.
• Experience owning full general ledger and month-end close.
• Multi-entity accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Must be able to work from Green Hills office four days per week.
• Commercial real estate experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close and general ledger across 30+ entities and corporate books.
• Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements for ownership and leadership.
• Review accounts for accuracy and consistency across entities.
• Collaborate with property management and admin teams to resolve billing and coding questions.
• Assist with annual budgeting, cash projections, and financial planning.
• Coordinate with Controller and Property Management teams.

Senior Accountant | $85,000–$110,000

If you’re a CPA or currently working toward your CPA and looking for broader ownership and a path beyond the Senior Accountant level, this role offers direct exposure to the Controller, executive leadership, and the financial operations of 30+ commercial properties.

Location: Green Hills, Nashville, TN

Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days in office / 1 day remote

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the monthly close and general ledger process across 30+ commercial property entities and the corporate books
• Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements for ownership and executive leadership
• Review accounts and ensure financials are accurate and consistent across entities
• Work with property management and administrative teams to resolve billing, coding, and commission questions
• Assist with annual budgeting, cash projections, and financial planning
• Work closely with the Controller and Property Management team

Who We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong private-company accounting experience
• Experience owning the full general ledger and month-end close process
• Multi-entity accounting and financial reporting experience
• Current CPA license or active CPA candidate who has completed the educational requirements and is currently sitting for the exams
• Ability to work from the Green Hills office four days per week

Commercial real estate experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• $85,000–$110,000 base salary
