Job summary

OPEN Healthcare US seeks a Senior Accountant to join the Finance team, leading month-end close and GAAP financial reporting while strengthening internal controls. The role supports audit activities and cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred), healthcare exposure, and strong ERP/Excel skills to drive accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA preferred, or actively pursuing certification.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of public accounting experience, ideally with a Big 4 firm.
  • Prior industry experience in healthcare or related sector a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control best practices.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to interpret and communicate financial data clearly.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • High level of accountability, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Lead critical components of the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Perform and review complex general ledger account reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Leverage Big 4 audit experience to enhance internal control frameworks and drive readiness for external audits.
  • Support external audit requirements by preparing audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responding to audit inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and internal financial procedures.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and ensure alignment between business activities and financial reporting.
  • Drive improvements in accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Assist in implementation of new accounting standards and corporate policies.
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed by management.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-orientedSenior Accountant to join the Finance team in supporting the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of OPEN Healthcare’s financial operations. This role plays a key part in leading the month-end close process, preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements, and strengthening the company’s internal control environment.

  • 9:00 AM to 5:30PM – Monday to Friday

Open Healthcare US offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The reasonable estimated salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $95,000 per year. Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate's education, skills, qualifications, related work experience, and etc.
