Job summary

DMR Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and financial reporting for the business. You will ensure accurate records, maintain internal controls, and contribute to month-end close with insightful analyses.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, and strong Excel and ERP system skills, enabling reliable financial insights across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close activities with timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial statements and investigate variances.
  • Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure GAAP compliance.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Prepare schedules and support documentation for audits and tax reporting.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
  • Review accounting processes and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls.
  • Partner with operations and department leaders to provide financial support and analysis.
  • Assist with cash management and treasury activities.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes and collections as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting regulations.

DMR Associates is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting of the business. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting month-end close activities, and providing financial insights that help drive business decisions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where they can take ownership while partnering across departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
