Job summary

LHH is partnering with a growing organization in the Frisco area seeking a Senior Accountant to support its accounting team. This hands-on role requires comfort with day-to-day general ledger accounting in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has strong general ledger and reconciliation experience, hands-on SAP experience, and advanced Excel skills. Proficiency with VLOOKUPs and PivotTables is essential for analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Senior Accountant or strong Staff Accountant experience
• Strong general ledger, journal entry and reconciliation experience
• Hands-on SAP experience required
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas
• BlackLine experience preferred (Oracle a plus)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Complete bank and cash reconciliations
• Prepare accruals and month-end accounting entries
• Perform cost center analysis
• Complete payroll reconciliations
• Create new account reconciliations as needed
• Research and resolve reconciliation discrepancies
• Work within SAP and BlackLine
• Utilize Excel extensively for accounting analysis and reporting
• Support AFO reporting and other accounting needs
• Assist with additional month-end and general accounting responsibilities as needed

LHH is partnering with a growing organization in the Frisco area seeking a Senior Accountant to support its accounting team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who is comfortable jumping into a fast-paced environment and handling day-to-day general ledger accounting with minimal ramp-up.

The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger and reconciliation experience, hands-on knowledge of SAP, and advanced Excel skills. Candidates must be comfortable working independently with VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Complete bank and cash reconciliations
• Prepare accruals and month-end accounting entries
• Perform cost center analysis
• Complete payroll reconciliations
• Create new account reconciliations as needed
• Research and resolve reconciliation discrepancies
• Work within SAP and BlackLine
• Utilize Excel extensively for accounting analysis and reporting
• Support AFO reporting and other accounting needs
• Assist with additional month-end and general accounting responsibilities as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous Senior Accountant or strong Staff Accountant-level experience
• Strong general ledger, journal entry and reconciliation experience
• Hands-on SAP experience required
• Advanced Excel skills required, including:
• Creating and working with formulas
• Experience with BlackLine strongly preferred
• Oracle experience is a plus
• Experience with accruals, cost center analysis and payroll reconciliations preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred
• Ability to step into an established accounting team and quickly become productive
