Overview:

A company is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its internal accounting operations. We are specifically looking for a candidate with strong month-end close and general ledger experience. This is a key role that requires ownership of daily accounting functions, accuracy in financial reporting, and the ability to work independently in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including transaction entry and review
• Lead month-end close processes: journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Maintain and monitor general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and deliver preliminary monthly financial reports for executive review
• Support budgeting process and analyze departmental variances
• Oversee fixed assets, prepaids, accounts payable, and cash management activities
• Process wire transfers and payroll journal entries
• Assist with year-end audits and regulatory reviews
• Handle accounting tasks for multiple entities and assist with investment-related entries
• Collaborate with leadership on special projects and process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA designation preferred but not required
• Proven experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting
• Familiarity with accounting software (Oracle experience preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Must be able to work on-site, Monday through Friday, standard business hours
