Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Cranberry Township finance team. The role focuses on leading the monthly close, ensuring general ledger integrity across departments and cost centers, and delivering accurate financial reporting.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel. You will collaborate with leadership on budgeting and process improvements in a manufacturing/engineering setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Experience with monthly close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency with accounting software or ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process, including financial statement preparation and reconciliations.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger across departments, projects, and cost centers.
