Job summary

CFS in Valencia, PA is seeking an Accountant to support month-end close, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations on-site.

Ideal candidate has 2–5 years accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, Oracle, or NetSuite, plus solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in corporate or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting procedures.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables and lookup functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual month-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Support internal and external financial reporting, including variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready financial records.
• Collaborate with AP and AR teams to ensure accurate general ledger accounting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial review activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, accuracy, and internal controls.
