We’re assisting a client seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their high-performing finance team at a growing, mission-driven company. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy collaborating cross-functionally, this is a great opportunity to take ownership of key accounting processes and make a direct impact on financial operations.

What You’ll Do :

• Own general ledger activity and account reconciliations to ensure accurate, GAAP-compliant records
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and support compliance with regulatory requirements
• Oversee AP / AR activity and ensure timely payments and collections
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting through financial insights and analysis
• Assist with payroll accounting, tax compliance, and audit preparation
• Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes
• Partner with finance, operations, and HR to align reporting and practices
• Mentor junior accounting team members

What We’re Looking For :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA track is a plus
• 4–6 years of accounting experience, ideally in a similar role
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices
• Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
