Job summary

Gilder Search Group is partnering with a high-growth natural resources company to hire a Senior Accountant. This corporate accounting role reports to the Controller and offers leadership exposure and growth as the business scales.

You will own the corporate general ledger, manage the month-end close, prepare financial statements, and work with senior leaders across business units. Strong GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, and excellent Excel skills are essential; CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with time in mining, natural resources, or heavy manufacturing
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, plus solid grounding in cost accounting and inventory valuation
• Advanced Excel and hands-on ERP experience
• CPA, active or in progress, is a plus

Job description

We're partnering with a high-growth natural resources company on the materials processing side of manufacturing to hire a Senior Accountant. This is a corporate accounting seat with real leadership exposure and room to grow as the business scales.

Reporting to the Controller and supported by a staff accountant along with AR and AP specialists, you'll take ownership of the corporate general ledger and the month-end close while working closely with senior leadership across multiple business units. It's a highly visible role, so you'll need to be as comfortable presenting numbers as producing them.
